2008 Jean Laffite Classic

On Saturday, May 31, 2008, the Galveston Fencing Club hosted the 2nd annual Jean Laffite Classic Fencing Tournament. This was a fully sanctioned USFA mixed foil and mixed epee tournament, restricted to previously unrated fencers.

2nd 2007 Beginner's Foil "Mock Tournament"
On April 23, 2007, the Galveston Fencing Club held a second "mock tournament" with the completion of the second beginners' foil class. The results were:

1st 2007 Beginner's Foil "Mock Tournament"
On February 26, 2007, the Galveston Fencing Club held a "mock" or "practice" tournament for those who had finished the Beginner's Foil Class. This was not an official USFA-sanctioned and event and classifications could be made.

2006 Naomi Abbott Memorial Women's Tournament

On 9 December 2006, with a little help from our friends, the Galveston Fencing Club held the first annual Naom,i Abbott Memorial Women's Fencing Tournament. Competitions were held in Women's Foil and in Women's Epee. The competitions were open only to female fencers who did not already have a current USFA letter-classification in the weapon they were competing in. The final results were:
